She also shared extensively from a chapter called “The Trance” in a book by Dennis Linn, Sheila Fabricant Linn and Matthew Linn S.J. called Healing the Future: Personal Recovery from Societal Wounding.

In a world where so much of the use of power is to dominate, control and harm, Rev. Cari argues that the sovereignty of Jesus Christ invites everyone who wants to follow him into lives of maturity, individuation, connection and compassionate self-giving. It’s the harder way, but it’s the Jesus way.
