We worshipped together as all ages for Pentecost Sunday, so there was no “sermon” today. But here is the storytelling moment when Rev. Cari shared the story of Pentecost day (loosely based on Acts 2:1-20 — with some help from the congregation), followed by an account of I Corinthians 12:4-11, about the gifts the Holy Spirit gives.
Later in the service, the children handed everyone present a packet of cards with the gifts named during the story. The assignment was to keep one card that reminds us of a gift God has given us, and to give out our cards to two others during the service, and the rest during the week.
What gifts do you see in the people in your life?
