We are thrilled at Crossroads to welcome Carson Beck back for a third summer of Canada Summer Jobs Grant work with us!

Carson will be shadowing Rev. Anita closely, and learning the ropes of KidVenture and weekly Godly Play Sunday programming with our children.

“I’ve really enjoyed working here in the past and I’m very excited to continue this summer and deepen my connections with the Crossroads children and their families,” says Carson.

This position is part of the succession plan as Rev. Anita ends her transitional year with Crossroads on August 15, 2023. Carson will take up a continuing position at Crossroads, which will carry the Children’s MInistry coordination into the fall and beyond.

“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work in a position that I’m passionate about, and that is meaningful and useful for my future career endeavours.” Carson is working towards a B.A. and would like to become a high-school teacher, so his time here at Crossroads will strengthen his skills and provide an opportunity to learn and grow.
