This morning, Rev. Cari preached on Revelation 21:1-6a, the vision of the new creation. This was the third Sunday in our stewardship season, and a day when we celebrated the gifts of many folks in the Crossroads faith community.

We gave thanks for the witness of the “saints” in light — members of Crossroads who we’ve lost during this 18 months of COVID. We welcomed 8 new members by letter of transfer.

And we listened to the amazing promises of this text… that God is moving toward us! That the “ancien regime” of violence and injustice is on its way out! That the way of Jesus Christ, the way of love, is the way into that future with God.
