On Sunday, the congregation of Crossroads United Church received the gift of a beautiful stone bench in our Healing Garden.

 
Donated by her family in memory of Dorene Campbell, the bench offers a place of rest and reflection in the midst of our newest healing ministry location. Dorene was an avid gardener who brought joy and love into the Crossroads community, and her husband Clark and son Ryan were present to participate in the dedication of this beautiful gift.
 
The closing prayer, led by Ryan Campbell, said, “May this bench, now dedicated to the glory of your name, remain here to offer your invitation of rest to all who are weary, reflection upon the gifts of your creation, and healing for all that is broken.”
 
We hope that the new bench in our Healing Garden will provide an oasis of rest and healing not just for members and friends of Crossroads, but to all who pass by on 119A Street.
