On Sunday, August 11, 2024, Susan shared her experience walking for the first time in the Vancouver Pride Parade with other United Church members (and Crossroads folks). She preceded her account of the parade by sharing a story from her past, and drew the connection forward to the reason why she will continue to walk each year in the Pride Parade.
