This Christmas Eve, Rev. Cari preached on the beautiful prologue to John’s gospel, John 1:1-14.

Christmas is the celebration of God becoming human, in the startling specificity of the one we call Jesus of Nazareth… it’s also a cosmic mystery – not to be solved, but to be pondered – that the creator of the universe enters into human life.

So Rev. Cari turned over a new leaf, in sharing some “science” during her reflection, thanks to Diana Butler Bass, who had given her the idea. She hopes this reflection on Jesus Christ, the Light, including material on light itself (both particle and wave) will invite listeners to enter more deeply into the awe of the season.
