Listen in as Leslie Myers (MOCH enthusiast), Bobby Odhiambo (Mama’s son) and Rev. Cari share news from Bobby’s sister Betty, from the Mama Orphans Children’s Home in Busia, Kenya.
Leslie and Cari are reading from a letter Betty Oduor sent recently, to update the Crossroads congregation on events at the orphanage. Then Bobby speaks from the heart about his own recent homesickness and return home for Christmas, and his gratitude for the support of the congregation.
This isn’t a “sermon” in the true sense of the word, but Mama’s Day (as we call it at Crossroads) is always a Sunday when we take the opportunity to connect with our friends at MOCH. Our support makes a big difference in the lives of the children in Mama and Betty’s care.
