Israel – Gaza Conflict – What might Jesus think?

Israel – Gaza Conflict – What might Jesus think?

Categories:

Two major armed conflicts in our world alongside many smaller ones turn our attention to the topic of war and what Jesus would think or do. Despite numerous attempts at a peaceful solution to the Palestinian–Israel conflict which is rooted in the past, and profoundly affected by decisions made by Western nations in the breakup and division of the Ottoman Empire after World War 1 the two-state solution has eluded a solution. The two-state solution – a land for both Arabs and Jews remains the best hope for peace in that region and a normal life for Arabs and Jews tossed around by war and politics. We look briefly (20 minutes is not a long time to get a long and complex problem) at what Jesus says about war and where we would find Jesus in this conflict.
