Join Julia Copeman-Haynes and the Miles Black Trio as they return for another fabulous musical evening at Crossroads.
After performing last year on Mother’s Day weekend, it was only fitting that they return on Father’s Day Weekend this year. With heart and humour, Julia (18 years old) will again perform a variety of pop and R&B songs, show pieces, jazz standards, and this time even a couple of original songs.
Julia’s childhood nickname was “Pipes” and she continues to live up to that name. She began her vocal studies with Ann Golden Fisher, and currently sings in the studio of Alisia Lyne. Julia spent her first year out of high school continuing work on her voice and her music, as well as hostessing at the Nordel Way Boston Pizza. She made it through the biggest transition in her life so far by writing, singing, composing and recording with Miles, and is excited to share what’s ready!
Julia loves to sing and is very excited to have this opportunity to perform once again with some of Vancouver’s most talented musicians. The people of Crossroads have supported Julia’s musical development and growth as a person, and she is happy to make this contribution in support of Crossroads’ ministry in the community. She hopes to see you there!
