Join Crossroads for one of three worship times on this night of expectancy and hope.
4:30 p.m. Participatory service for the youngest among us (and the young at heart) — bring your children and grandchildren to this simple service with plenty of action for squirmy little bodies and carols for all to sing.
6:30 p.m. Joyful service for all ages — our choirs will sing at this service which will centre around a chancel drama called “The Gift of Love” and reading of the Luke 2 story of Jesus’ birth. Lots of carols for all to sing, closing with Silent Night.
9:00 p.m. Traditional candlelight and communion service — this late-evening service will feature a sermon, and the sacrament of Holy Communion shared by all worshippers. A quieter, more meditative feel is evident at this service, which also ends with the singing of Silent Night, and lit candles.
Offerings at all three services will be evenly divided between DeltAssist, Surrey Food Bank, First United Church Society (downtown Eastside of Vancouver), and Azure Place, the North Delta Women’s Shelter.
All are welcome!
